This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Dead Fools Club: 3v3 game for Meta Quest and iPhone (the “App”; on iPhone it is called DEAD FOOLS CLUB 3v3) handles, why, on what legal basis, who receives it, how long it is kept, and what rights and choices you have. It applies to the App and to communications with us about the App. It does not apply to Meta, Photon, Amplitude or any other service, each of which has its own privacy policy.
By installing or using the App you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.
The App is developed and published by an individual developer (trading as 80085games), who is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy:
Vladimir Matsel (individual developer)
Email: vnmtsl@gmail.com
All privacy requests and questions go to this address (see section 13).
Meta processes this data as an independent controller under its own terms and privacy policy. We use it only to provide these features inside the App — never for advertising or marketing.
Online matches run through Photon, a multiplayer network service of Exit Games, Inc.. To connect you, Photon processes your device’s IP address and a user identifier supplied by the App, and routes you to one of its server regions. During a match, the App sends the other players in it — through Photon — what the game needs to show you to each other: your Meta user ID and display name (with clan tag), your fighter’s look, your badges (club member, server supporter) and daily rewards, your squad, your position and in-game actions, and the match results (frags, deaths, damage). We do not run our own game servers and do not keep this match data after the match ends.
To keep the game stable and see how it is played, the App sends gameplay statistics to our analytics provider, Amplitude, Inc. Each event carries:
Your Meta user ID, display name, clan tag and voice are never sent to analytics. Amplitude may receive your IP address as part of the network connection; we do not use it to locate or identify you.
The App itself is sold through the Meta Horizon Store, and Meta may let you try it for a limited time before you buy (a trial). Buying the App makes you a member of the club: your own fighter and your own rooms are part of the game. Donations for the club’s servers (repeatable) are also sold through the Meta Horizon Store. Meta processes every payment; we never receive your payment details. The Meta platform does not tell the App whether you are on a trial, so the App shows the club member badge once it can infer that the game was bought: after more than 30 minutes of play (Meta ends trials before that) or after a donation (donations cannot be made during a trial). To do this, the App counts your total time played on your headset. A donation earns a supporter badge that other players can see; the total you have donated is remembered only on your headset. Donations are voluntary payments for the game’s server costs; they do not buy any gameplay advantage, are not charitable contributions, and refunds are governed by the Meta Horizon Store’s policies.
You can report another player through Meta’s reporting tool. Meta delivers the report to us in an encrypted inbox; reports may include the reported player’s identifiers, the reason and any details the reporter adds. We review reports to enforce fair play and community safety and may take action such as limiting a player’s access. Meta deletes reports from that inbox after 90 days. We may keep a minimal record of actions taken for as long as needed to enforce them.
Settings (language, sound, vibration, hints, fog of war, voice chat), progress and experience, your fighter’s look and role, your clan tag, days in a row and daily rewards, total time played and whether the purchase is confirmed, donation status, the list of people you recently played with, the analytics installation ID and queue, and tutorial progress — all stored in the App’s own storage on your headset. We cannot access this data.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to answer you and to keep a record of the request.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
We may disclose personal data if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to: comply with a law, regulation, court order or lawful request by public authorities; enforce our terms or investigate possible violations; detect, prevent or address fraud, cheating, security or technical issues; or protect the rights, property or safety of our players, the public or us. If the App is transferred to another owner, personal data related to it may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Photon routes you to one of its server regions, which may be outside your country; Amplitude may process analytics data in the United States; Meta processes data under its own terms. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA, UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses included in our providers’ data processing terms.
Wherever you live, you have the right to: know and access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing (including our analytics, based on legitimate interests); receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights are available to every player, regardless of country or region. Laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, other US state privacy laws or Brazil’s LGPD may give you further rights, such as lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to exercise them: email vnmtsl@gmail.com with the subject “Dead Fools Club: 3v3 — Privacy”. We will reply within 30 days (or the period your law requires, extendable where the law allows), and may need to verify your request. You may use an authorised agent where your law allows. If we decline a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal; you can appeal by replying to our answer.
Choices in the App: turn voice chat and the microphone off, mute other players, play without setting a clan tag. Uninstalling the App deletes everything stored on your headset, including the analytics installation ID, after which past analytics events can no longer be linked to you.
Pseudonymous data (GDPR Art. 11): because analytics data is tied only to a random installation ID, we may be unable to identify which events are yours unless you give us that ID. Data held by Meta (your account, friends, purchases) is managed through your Meta account settings and Meta’s privacy tools.
No sale or sharing: we do not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of personal data online), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Players must meet the minimum age required by Meta to use a Meta account with the App. Online play and voice chat let players communicate with people they do not know; parents and guardians can use Meta’s parental supervision tools to manage this. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is sent over the encrypted connections provided by Meta, Photon and Amplitude, and we keep the personal data we handle to the minimum described above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the competent authorities where the law requires.

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
On iPhone the App works as described above, with these differences. Where this section differs from sections 1–13, this section applies to the iPhone version.
Service providers on iPhone: Apple (App Store distribution, payments, Game Center — independent controller under Apple’s terms), Exit Games, Inc. (Photon) and Amplitude, Inc. as in section 6.
We may update this Policy when the App or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date; if a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will also tell you in the App before it applies. If a translation of this Policy differs from this English version, the English version prevails.
